Forward a receipt, keep the warranty
v0.1.15📩 Forward any order confirmation to your private Synx address and it attaches to the right purchase, with the product's warranty and registration deadline filled in for you.

- Forward a receipt, keep the warranty: send any order confirmation email to your private Synx address and it attaches itself to the matching purchase, with the product's warranty and registration deadline filled in.
Why we built this
A couple of years ago one of us had a warranty claim rejected because we couldn't produce the receipt. It was a suitcase, bought in Japan, and by the time it mattered the receipt was long gone. The responsible fix was supposed to be simple: photograph every receipt and keep it filed away in a Google Drive folder. We tried that. It never stuck, and we don't think it really sticks for anyone.
What we believe: a tool that already tracks your money should hold onto the proof of purchase too, so you don't have to.
So we built the easy version. Take a photo of the receipt, email it to your private Synx address, and it saves to the right transaction. No folders, no filing, nothing to remember.
What you can do
- Get your own forwarding address: open any purchase that doesn't have a receipt yet and you'll see a private Synx email address made just for you, with a button to copy it. Forward receipts there from any inbox.
- Let it find the right purchase: forward the email and Synx matches it to a transaction by the amount, the date, and the store, then files the receipt against it. No hunting for the right line.
- Keep the receipt on the purchase: the receipt shows up in the transaction's details, and one tap opens or downloads it when you need to prove what you bought.
- See the warranty without digging through fine print: for purchases of $100 or more, Synx fills in the product's warranty, how long the coverage runs, when it expires, and how many months you have left.
- Never miss a registration window: if the product has to be registered to keep its coverage, Synx shows the deadline and a Register button that takes you straight to the manufacturer's page.
- Find it all in one place: open a purchase and look under "Receipt and warranty" for the receipt, the coverage, and the registration details together.
Good to know
- Early days, and a little hands-on: this one is more involved than most of what we ship, so we're rolling it out carefully. A full guide is coming soon. In the meantime, if anything is unclear or you'd like help getting set up, just reach out and we'll walk you through it.
- The warranty is our best read: coverage can change depending on where and how you bought something, so treat the warranty details as a solid starting point rather than the final word. The receipt itself is always the exact email you forwarded.
- Warranty lookups start at $100: for anything under that we still attach the receipt, we just skip the warranty details.
